ford transit mk2 1980v 2.5diesel recovery truck beavertail blue, fixed bed excellent runner starts 1st
time every time even if not started 5weeks etc
the engine2.5diesel&5speed-gbox from a later mk3 transit
approx 1985/1990 but no idea when the engine/gbox was
changed the original engine was a 2.0petrol&4speed-man.
sadly needs attention to front part of chassis-
needs replacing-both ns/os-doorsills/steps/crossmembers/
front ns/os-leafspring-mounts/rear chassis is good!
needs replacing-steering/front suspension-
ns/os-trackrodends/arms/kingpins or lowerballjoints/
front-os-leafspring
has basic steering non-power-steering but its now
possible to buy a power-steering rack/box&pump for
approx£300-00.
these mk2 ford transit recovery trucks in mint &
immaculate condition now sells for between £2500-00
&£3500-00 no joking seriously honest!! im not joking!!
ive very recently last week seen a mk2 transit recovery
truck online selling for max price £3500-no joke!!
my truck will need approx £1000-spent on repairs
and maybe a body respray would be good but not essential!! and if it had power-steering this will
improve selling power by 100%easy!! no other mk1/2
transits have power-steering !
